They Say It's Your Birthday!

Today would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday! I wore a tribute outfit to a music show last night.

This outfit is actually based on the red skinny pants! I decided to let red be the dominant colour of the outfit.

I love wearing this striped top and black bustier together. I'm wearing it in one of my favourite pictures of Billy and, after he and his band finished playing a show. Since this is a reminiscent post, are you ready for a blast from the past? Here we go:

Awww! We both had such long hair. And were so skinny. Haha! This was taken in January 2009, almost two years ago, by our friend Lindy! I almost wore the same earrings and belt as I'm wearing in this picture too, hahaha.

I sure have been wearing my Michael Jackson leather jacket a lot lately. Oh well! I can't help it that it goes with everything ;)

To add another pop of colour, I wore the sash from an upcoming (ooooh) dress as a scarf, along with my red wooden beads. It was SO HARD to accessorize this outfit, but I'm happy with the result!

And, of course, I wore Billy's John Lennon sunglasses. Don't they just make the outfit? :D
