This red striped sweater was one of my birthday purchases. When my sister and I went to the change rooms, this baby was screaming to me from the reject rack! As soon as I tried it on, this outfit popped into my head.
I wanted to wear the sweater with "skinny" bottoms, and you don't get much skinnier than leggings! Because the sweater is so bulky, wearing it with anything poofy or even slightly flared would look weird. That's not to say I might not wear it with any shape of skirt at some point in the future, but I would never wear it with anything other than skinnies, pants-wise! Maybe shorts. But I digress! I wore this softest-ever faux-fur coat to exaggerate the silhouette even more!
I especially wanted to wear these leggings because of the faux-leather tuxedo stripe down the sides! I liked the horizontal-vertical stripe thing it did with the sweater :P I also wore these sweet little navy vintage heels :D
So today it was supposed to be zero-ish in temperature. I want warm weather!! So I pretended it was warmer to fool the weather gods, and lo and behold: it did not feel like it was that cold! (I was wearing a dress, tights, and faux-leather jacket... I'm exactly a week behind in posts! Haha) I even ended up taking off my jacket :D
I had a big ol' shock today when I realized that it's March 21! That means I have less than three weeks 'til the end of term... and also less than three weeks to finish all my work! Gleep! I'd better get on that ;) I'm feeling a lot better about it now that I'm used to the time change though. Yay more daylight!
Guess I should go crack into some of that schoolwork, haha!
