Octopus's Garden

I'd like to be
Under the sea
In an octopus's garden
In the shade

Wheee all my essays are done! Now I only have exams. I can't believe how long it's been since I posted! Ten days since my "Where am I" post, and FIFTEEN since my last outfit post! Goodness me!

As soon as I came up with this outfit, the song "Octopus's Garden" pooped into my head. It's very underwater tea party, no? The cable-knit sweater and pink-and-blue beads sealed it ;) I had to wear my blue-and-pink Lennon shades too!

I wish I had a better picture of this necklace, I actually made it myself!

To add to the underwater feel of the skirt (the batik has fishies in it!), I wore my bright blue pashmina and navy tights! I love the way the blues contrasted with the pale blue of the sweater, and how both the darker and lighter blues are in the print on the skirt!

Pashminas are my favourite outfit-photo prop! Can't go wrong with twirling pictures ;)

I wore my silver leather jacket as well, it was the obvious choice for a trip under the sea! Haha!

My little navy suede booties finished off the look!

Tomorrow I have TWO exams... ew. And they're toughies too! Buddhism (SO MUCH SANSKRIT) and Image of God (SO MUCH THEOLOGY/PHILOSOPHY). My brain hurts just thinking about it. and I've been so disorganized this semester that I'm not entirely sure where all my notes are... that's a scavenger hunt I'd rather not take! Yuck. At least I can reward myself with Top Model :D Or at least take a study break!

Guess it's time to go find those notes... I can't wait 'til 5 p.m. tomorrow! I'll have so much time to catch up on all of your blogs! Yay!!! :D:D:D

  2. I love these pieces you're wearing! Together and separate, they look amazing! A pink floral skirt is a necessity of Spring, not to mention a cobalt blue Pashmina! Adorable sweater too! You're lucky you can pull off Lenon shades, I end up looking like an insect! AHAH! :P xox

Good luck with all of your exams. School can be so overwhelming at times, but at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel right?
