Tommy comes to play!

In my neighborhood lives a huge grey tomcat, aptly named... Tommy! He's a big bundle of love, and always stops to flop down to be petted. These pictures were taken by my mama when Billy was in Turkey, and Tommy swooped in to be in the pictures too!

I really liked wearing this outfit. I had never thought to wear this skirt and these tights together, but I love the effect! They're both from Joe Fresh, and are so similar in colour that they just begged to be paired. I wore my yellow-and-blue striped top to keep with the soft colour scheme, and threw on my bright green cardi just for fun! My navy booties picked up the dark colour of the cardigan's buttons. I wore my navy faux-leather jacket and sunglasses too!

Woo, day two in a row for posting! Haha. I'm hoping to take pictures later of the skirt and aprons I made -- weather permitting! It's another gorgeous summer day for now, but the weather network forecasts sun showers for this afternoon! Booo. Tonight is also a Zumba for the Cure event: two hours of Zumba fun to raise money for breast cancer research. If you've never heard of Zumba, it's a fun dance-style cardio class and it is AWESOME. I've been going for the past few weeks and loving every minute of it!
